📰 Butler County Hub Sunday Evening Roundup
Sunday, July 26, 2026
Good evening, Butler County! As another weekend comes to a close, here's what everyone is talking about as we head into a busy week across the county.
🎡 It's Butler County Fair Week!

The 2026 Butler County Fair officially opens today and runs through Saturday, August 1, bringing thousands of visitors to Hamilton for one of Butler County's longest-running traditions.
This week's schedule includes:
🚜 Sunday: Antique Tractor Pull
🚛 Monday: Truck, Tractor & Semi Pulls
🤠 Tuesday: Rodeo
💥 Wednesday & Thursday: Demolition Derby
💥 Friday: Demolition Derby Finals
🚜 Saturday: Combine Derby
Of course, the fair is about much more than the grandstand. You'll find 4-H and FFA livestock shows, exhibits, carnival rides, live entertainment, local vendors, and enough fair food to satisfy every craving. Whether it's elephant ears, fresh lemonade, or a pork chop sandwich, it's one of Butler County's favorite summer traditions. Be sure to support our local youth exhibitors throughout the week.
🚓 Butler County Deputy Injured in Ross Township Crash
A Butler County Sheriff's deputy was injured Saturday in a crash in Ross Township. Authorities say the deputy was transported for treatment, and the crash remains under investigation. Additional information is expected as investigators complete their review. Residents are reminded to use extra caution around emergency responders and construction zones this week.
⛈️ Storms Could Arrive Monday
The National Weather Service is monitoring the potential for strong thunderstorms across southwest Ohio on Monday. Damaging wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and localized flooding are possible. If you're planning to spend the day at the Butler County Fair or other outdoor events, keep an eye on the forecast before heading out.
