Chief Donald J. Bennett of Fairfield Fire Department announced his retirement after years of dedicated service to the community. Chief Bennett is being celebrated by the department on Thursday August 11 from 3pm until 6pm at The Fairfield Community Arts Center located at 411 Wessel Drive in Village Green. The retirement party is open to the public to honor Chief Bennett's impact on Fairfield.
