Fairfield Fire Department Hosts Touch A Truck Event

Sensory sensitivities are being recognized with a special time allotment.

Fairfield City announced a touch a truck event.

Fairfield Fire Department is scheduled to host a Touch A Truck event on Friday July 22, 2022 at Village Green Park with the City of Fairfield.

From 9 until noon Fairfield will give residents a chance to see equipment up close, with a special time allotment for those with sensory sensitivities from 9 to 10 am, a time frame that will be horn and siren free. City vehicles such as ambulances, fire trucks, snow plows, police cruisers, the bookmobile, and more will be available to experience for all ages.
