Hueston Woods State Park announces the grand opening of their new Nature Center. The center will open Wednesday June 15 at 11 am and will include tree planting, refreshments, and wildlife ambassadors.
Hueston Woods Nature Center is located at 6301 Park Office Drive near the office buildings and lake. Hueston Woods also offers boat rentals, fishing, camping, horseback riding, a dog park, and other summer activities for all ages. The Nature Center houses many species of rescued wildlife including eagles, owls, snakes, and others.
